Replies go out when there is something to reply to. A report of a wrong result will get an answer faster than a general question will.
What is worth writing about
- A result you believe is arithmetically wrong.
- A page that is broken, unreadable or mis-formatted on your device or browser.
- Something on this site that claims something it does not actually do.
What cannot be answered
This site is a calculator, not an adviser. Questions of the form "should I average down on this position" or "is this stock worth buying" will not be answered, because nobody here is in a position to answer them. The same applies to tax questions, which depend on where you live and on rules this site does not model.
If you are reporting a wrong result
The fastest way to get it fixed is to include the inputs, not just the output:
- Every purchase row you entered — number of shares and price per share.
- The current price, if you entered one.
- The figure the page showed you, and the figure you expected.
- Your device and browser (for example: iPhone, Safari).
No account details, statements or screenshots of your brokerage are needed, and please do not send any. The calculation runs in your browser, so we cannot reproduce your numbers from our side — the inputs above are the whole of what is needed.
